It's time to admit I'm additcted (and a Hello!)

Hi everyone! My name is Erica and I have been diagonsed by my friends and family as "Pyrerexic"

What began as an innocent purchase in March of a pink daisy divided casserole at an antique mall has become a full blown collection. I remember growing up using Pyrex (Grandmother had the primary bowls, my household used the butterfly gold, and my Aunt had Spring Blossom and Forest Fancies!)
the piece that started it all

I now am not even sure how many pieces I have! I have been a lurker on the collective blogs for months now and I finally have a collection I feel is worthy of sharing! So with no further ado here are some of my most treasured finds (and gifts!)
this was taken a few months into collecting. I was luck and scored a whole tub of Pyrex off of Craigslist for $15! Many of these peices are from that awesome find!I am very fond of the horizon blue piece.
yellow gooseberry Cinderella bowl set, a lovely birthday gift form the man in my life who always refers to them as "mother goose bowls" lol
SNOWFLAKES!! I particularly love the black piece which was found at the DAV Thrift for $1.99!

Well, I think that is enough for my initial post, I want to have things to share later! I look forward to collecting more pieces and reading about everyone's wonderful finds!
Cheers!
Erica

  1. Hello ERICA!
My name is Erica too, and I began my addiction in March as well! It all started with the Verde 503 Fridgie with lid for $3 at the Goodwill...now I have about 120 pieces! Haaa!
Congrats on having a super cute collection!

  3. The yellow gooseberry set IS funky looking! When I first saw it I wasn't even sure it was from the same set--I though maybe it was mixed! Does a white on black gooseberry exist?
I literally squealed out loud when I found the black snowflake piece! I can't wait for winter to display them!!

It seems there are a few "Erica" posters on the blogs! I'm honored to be a new one :)
