maybe it's because i always have pyrex on my mind but whilst watching "gilmore girls" (yay for PVR!) i spotted some mixing bowls in the background that looked an awful lot like pyrex dishes. but, then again, it could just be wishful thinking.
doesn't it look like that could be a homestead 402 and a butterfly gold 401 behind it??
and possibly a blue stripe 402??
always looking for pyrex,
lauren.
I know what you mean about spotting pyrex. A teeny-bopper show on ABC Family called Secret Life of the American Teenager showed them in a character's foster mother's kitchen-- there was red pyrex! Ps I loovveed Gilmore Girls (fave episode replayed recently- when Rory's great-grandmother passes away and Loralai plans the rest of the funeral. Hilarious!)
ReplyDeleteI was watching one of those home improvement shows and the guy was showing how to wash something off after sanding it. He had the water and rags in a pink pyrex bowl. I screamed at the T.V.LOL
ReplyDeleteI watched the series Gidget last month, the one with Sally Field. There were lots of pyrex sightings in the different kitchens. I liked the continuity of the use of the pyrex, Gidget and her dad used a pink divided bowl for breakfast, and you would see that on the table multiple times in the series. This show was really fun to watch, not only for the pyrex sightings, but to watch a young, adorable Sally Field in her cute clothes.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check Pyrex Love's site to see if Gilmore Girls (or Gidget!) are in their TV sightings.
