Flameware Finds Me

Lately I really seem to be on a Pyrex flameware spree.  Last weekend I had found 3 of the blue tint saucepans, now this weekend I found an additional 3 saucepans (1qt, 1.5qt, and 2 qt) and a 7 inch skillet.  I have no complaints though, I have a flameware weakness.  The irony is that I was unable to find flameware all winter; I suppose patience pays off.  I also found a second blue snowflake casserole.  One surprise this weekend was actually the Pyrex bundt cake mold made in France.

The three custard cups are older with the dollar sign mark and all three cost $1.  The 4qt Snowflake blue mixing bowl was a bit of a splurge for me.  I think I'm feeling okay with the purchase though because It means I completed the set.  Finally was the cinderella Amish Blue Butterprint bowl for less than $5.

All in all, I'm completely tickled with my finds for this weekend.  There was a nice supply of Pyrex excitement not to mention all the other non-Pyrex goodies I found.  Feel free to check out my blog www.yesterway.blogspot.com to read all about it.

  1. I love Flameware! I found another teapot this weekend at SVP half off sale. Do you ever use any of your Flameware on the stove?

    1. I use the teapots and coffee percolators pretty frequently. So far I haven't gotten a chance to use my new saucepans, but I hope to soon. I'm rather excited to put them to use!

  2. I would LOVE to use the glass percolator...so pretty. Although, the inner pieces are aluminum instead of stainless steel, and aluminum is very bad, over time, in the brain.
