Easter Jackpot at Mom's House

Just got back from Easter Dinner at my parents home.  Somehow the topic of Pyrex came up, and my Mom starts digging in her cupboards.  I knew she had some...I just never had the nerve to ask because I'm pretty sure she still uses it.

"I'm old,"  she said, handing me pieces.  "I can't lift these like I used too."
My Dad furrowed his brow.  "What do you want with this old stuff, anyway?"
I gathered them around the computer and showed them the prices for this "old stuff" on Etsy.  They couldn't believe it.  By the end of the evening I had my Mom and 92 year old Grandma well versed in patterns and styles which they promised to look for in the cabinets of their Iowa relatives that they claim haven't moved anything in 50 years.  They are visiting there this summer for my Grandma's sister's 100th birthday.  (Yes, I come from hearty stock).  "I'll buy them new bowls in exchange,"  my Mom proclaimed.

My dad is still scratching his head trying to figure out what the fuss is all about.

OK, so your dying to see what I scored for free, right? Here we go...
This mixing bowl is my grandma's.  It's marked Pyrex Hamilton Beach on back.  Now I want to find a mixer like the one it came with!
Love these Woodland casserole dishes.  They have all their lids too!  My Mom remembered the hardware store in California where she purchased these in 1973.  Pretty Cool.

Yes!  Two Primary colored bowls in perfect condition.  "I never put my bowls in the dishwasher," my Mom declared.  Thank you Mom!
