Hi! My name is Tasha and I collect Pyrex. Go figure! I also like being in the kitchen and my pups. You can find out about me on my website - Flour Mayhem. This is my very first post here on the blog and I'm so happy to share my Pyrex collection (thus far) with you guys! I have been collecting for a few years, gave it all way due to an emergency move (so sad, BUT I HAD TO!), and now have gained a good bit back. I look forward to sharing my Pyrex finds with you all and reading about yours too!

wow. Great stuff you have there. Tell us more about that first picture. The one with the eagle...
ReplyDeleteawesome collection!
ReplyDeleteHey Marilyn, I don't know a lot about it. It's the Federal Eagle pattern, from the mid 60's. It has a pretty tall rim on the bottom, and apparently that's from a double screening, the strip and the goldleaf, again I am not too sure. I am trying to find out if there are any other pieces, but I read that there were only 2 sizes made, but who really knows. Gotta see what else I can find out about it!
ReplyDeleteLove your stuff...and welcome. I want that Friendship divided dish with lid!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I'm so jealous of your friendship pieces. I have yet to find any in my local thrift stores or antique malls!
ReplyDeleteI've read your blog before...it made my mouth water! :)

Friendship is my favorite! Im always so excited when I find a piece ;) It makes me so happy that you've actually seen my blog before. I always think it's just my Mom who reads, haha
DeleteI looked up the Federal Eagle bowl in the Pyrex book (that is over due at the library) !!! and it only shows one bowl. There is a larger bowl with two brown strips that is similar in color. But without an eagle.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I have a big brown bowl that is similar in color with two striped, it's actually in one of the photos above. It's a chip and dip set, with a significantly smaller bowl. I haven't ever seen one like it so when I came across it, I had to pick it up.
DeleteNice pieces! im glad you collection is building back up:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lesley!
