Mom's Learning

My Mom and I were out shopping today...her kind of shopping (Macy's, Kohl's)...but she's gotten used to me asking to stop at thrift stores. She even likes one of them. It's not a chain store, but a cute little shop off the beaten path. Low and behold, there was an Old Orchard Casserole with the lid waiting for me. I spotted it, and my mom grabbed it like someone would take it. (Go Mom). "I'll get it for you!" she said. "My, this IS like a treasure hunt," she added. "You just never know when you'll find this stuff!" Ain't that the truth. Anyway, not everyone likes Old Orchard, and I don't want alot of it, but I ADORE the casseroles with the colorful lids. Besides, it really matches my kitchen (golds, browns - accented with orange and green too). Here it is!

  1. I just can't get into the Old Orchard.

This casserole has been at a local shop for $12.99 for a couple weeks now.

  3. I wouldn't say old orchard is my favorite pattern, but I have the large fridgie and I do like it a lot, especially for fall. I like those dark lids too.
