Do you all know today you can get a new book out for all us collectors?
Well you can via pyrexpassion.com.
I didn't write it. I just bought it.
I love it.
And when I love something I share it.
And since you guys care about this stuff, unlike my husband,
I had to tell someone. And that someone is all of you.
~Katie
Ooooooo...I wants it!
ReplyDeleteJust ordered it! Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome. I'm really surprised no one else has mentioned it.
Deletewould you mind posting a review once you receive the book? I'm curious to see how it compares to the information that's in the other major Pyrex collecting books and on Pyrex websites :)
ReplyDeleteThis book is much better regarding the opal pyrex. The price guide is up to date. Michael did a fantastic job. It is a guide. Each pattern is grouped together and it lists all that are in the pattern with pictures. He also does all the promos. My blog linked above
DeleteMy blog linked above has my review from just flipping through it. It doesn't contain Flameware info. But for all the opal stuff. Really it is so much better than the other guide out there. 208 pages of pyrex porn.
DeleteWoo! I have to figure out how to justify this on a poor, grad student budget! Maybe my bffs will buy it for me for my bridal shower! Is it a large coffee table book?
ReplyDeleteIt is 8.5x11. 208 pages, so a little thicker than an unstapled staple.
DeleteOh wow! Definitely need to scoop up a copy somewhere. Can we convince the author to do a giveaway?!
ReplyDeleteHe did already (gave away 2). I did not win.
DeleteYou all should be able to ask your local library to order a copy too.
