Hey, everyone!
Last weekend I went thrifting and found this sweet glass cutting board - with the forest fancies design on it! It was laying next to a 441 forest fancies bowl, and they were exactly the same. I flipped the cutting board over and it's marked Corelle. I had no idea these existed!
Does anyone else have one of these?
See what else I didn't buy while thrifting on my blog!
Nope! I've never seen one.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Thanks for sharing!
Erica :)
My Grandparents have the plain ones. I've never seen a one with a pattern before though. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what other patterns those come in? How amazing would a pink gooseberry cutting board be? Oh, swoon!

Oh wow! That is so cool! I've never seen one before and the fact that both Erica's have never seen one either must mean it is a special find. I'm with Erica on other patterns, think about a butterprint cutting board...
ReplyDeleteThat's a Corelle Counter Saver, you lucky duck. I believe they also made "stove savers" that would cover all 4 burners on the stove (when it's not on, of course). I keep hoping the Pyrex/Corelle gods will grace me with a Counter Saver!
ReplyDeleteI didn't remember until you posted this picture, but my mom had a bunch of the spice of life stuff from and she definitely had one that looked like this but with a spice of life pattern in the corner.
ReplyDeleteOk...I know this is crazy, but on my break at work today I stopped by the closest thrift store and found another forest fancies space saver (the larger one!) I scooped it up for a great price. It's far cleaner than the first. If anyone would like to trade for one, let me know! :)
ReplyDeleteWow!!
ReplyDeletei saw one of these in colonial mist, but i think it only exists in a few patterns
ReplyDeleteI have the same exact one. Found it thrifting. If you google you’ll find they were made in the early 80s. Mine is Corning not Corelle
ReplyDeleteI have one the one with the mushrooms and the Pyrex with the measuring red dots
ReplyDeleteI have had them since 1969 I don't know how old they are I would like to know if anybody knows
ReplyDeleteI have one I've been using since 1982. My grandmother bought it for my wedding shower. It's the latge size.
