My Husband found this beautiful set of Cinderella bowls at the thrift store this week.
He paid $13 for the set and they are in great shape! How often would you say you find a whole set in one spot? Especially at a thrift store or yard sale?
They are great! Good job Husband! Right before I started collecting Pyrex I found a complete set of Butterprint at the GoodWill for $24.00 I walked around with them in my cart but then put them back because I didn't quite know what they were or if that was a good price! LOL The next day (after checking with a blog friend) I ran back to see if they were still there. But of course not! From then on I was a Pyrex collector...who has yet to stumble upon a single Butterprint bowl at the Goodwill! So annoying! :P Happy for you, Erica
Yesterday I saw a complete set of Shenandoah Cinderella bowls at Value Village - priced separately but adding up to $12.99, which was a really good price - I left it there...
Yay! Love that your husband hunts for you. My boyfriend has finally begun helping me :) crossed paths with another collector at the thrift because he turned to me and said "oh no look! She has pyrex in her cart!" Cut throat! :)
nice job! I got a complete set of daisy cinderella bowls on a rummage/garage sale for 8.00 once! love those bowls! and a complete set of spring blossom cinderella's for a total of 2.50!!! at a thrift store once-they were all marked seperately though but I obviously bought them all :-D

ReplyDeleteReally pretty! I've found a complete set of Pink Gooseberry bowls for $10 off of Craigs List and a complete set of Primary bowls for $9.
ReplyDeleteWow!! I am jealous of those finds! I am still trying to complete our primary bowl set.
