Like my fellow Pyrex sisters, I too have a fondness for clean & shiny Pyrex, but like SusieQT, I'm always afraid they'll drop out of my soapy hands. I have a couple of bowls that my teenagers have broken while they were washing the dishes, (they felt terrible because they know how much I treasure them). I've kept the broken shards in hopes that one day I'll resurrect them into a Pyrex mosaic of some kind.
Aww! I live with 3 boys in their mid - late 20's...they use my Pyrex daily but are always oh-so-careful with it and know NEVER to put it in the dishwasher! I'd be so sad if a piece ever dropped. :(
I don't know about the favourite part, but it sure helps the clean up portion of it!
ReplyDelete:)
Nope! I'm always afraid they'll slip out of my hand and break- it's terrifying, frankly. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like to see them all shiny again. Love the pic
ReplyDeleteYes! I love to clean my pyrex and see them all shiny
ReplyDeleteI enjoy cleaning Pyrex more than anything else but I still hate doing the dishes. lol

DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI use the bars keeper friend and it takes away the gloss of my pyrex.
Any advice how to clean it to make look like yours?
You probably have a blog entry somewhere and would appreciate the link.
Thanks.
