In my Pyrex journey I had been perfectly happy with collecting only casseroles, bowls, and fridgies...that was until I saw these:
Aren't these just the sweetest little Pyrex teacups!? I have seen the Pyrex mugs before, but never the teacups. They have a milk glass look with a chartreuse colored rim and gold bands. I found them at the Goodwill for 59 cents each.
The bottom of the cups are stamp labeled instead of the usual Pyrex logo embossing. The stamp logo has a copper sheen to it. The number 30 is faintly embossed towards the edge of the bottom.
I am curious as to the pattern name and when it was issued. Does anyone know?
Thanks for the help!

Love them!
Thanks Sarah for the info :)
DeleteSo it seems like from the article they would be called something like, lime green dinnerware cup and saucers with optional gold band?
ReplyDeleteIf anyone knows of the exact 'Pyrex wording' please comment! Thanks!
exact wording for this line...
DeletePyrex dinnerware
It is that simple. And your color is lime.
Chartreuse is my favorite color. The cups are lovely!

ReplyDeleteI posted the Pyrex advertisement that has this pattern in red. Look towards the bottom of the post where I had cropped the ad to get a better look at the prices... and it list the two versions. (with or without the gold ringed trim)
The plates are red in the ad...
DeleteThanks FGP! Its always fun to see the old advertisements and gawk at what the pricing used to be :)
DeleteI have a few of the red ones that are beat up. I planted spider plant babies in one, so we'll see what happens.
ReplyDeleteSorry to butt in, but I have a lot of Pyrex dinnerware and would like to actually USE it, but am scared the gold stamps will come off. Any idea if there's something I could put over it to protect it?
