Brenda, I had a women stop me in a GW once maybe about 2 months ago, and she saw my cart FILLED with Pyrex. She said do you use your Pyrex? I said of course I do! I love using it, well she looked at me like I had 10 heads and I asked do you? she said ohh nooo....I never do. I keep them in my closet, and I am thinking to myself um wow to me that is a waste of money and really bothers me.
Some people are just strangeeee, i love using my pyrex!
It has to be fun AND functional in my kitchen! I did shatter a clear Pyrex dish once because I put it on top of a metal baking sheet while it was still hot (little did I know...) but I still use my vintage Pyrex all the time.
(You should have made her an offer on her closet stash...)
Holy cow! That fudge sounds insane and looks extra lovely in your snowflake dish! I'm with Sarah. If you wouldn't mind, I would love to try it. melissa.b.cos(at)gmail(dot)com. Thanks!
I ADORE using my Pyrex! I am sooo happy to see you using it and loving it at the same time, isn't it great?
Fudge looks awesome, saw a recipe for it somewhere and need to try it!! I am with the 2 gals that would like to know the recipe. Unique2antique@gmail.com
I use my Pyrex too, sometimes in unusual way - right now, my Snowflake oval is holding my tags while I'm wrapping presents - it's the perfect size and I love looking at it. It's so much fun to have some for different seasons. :) C
Looks like your loved ones are going to get some good eats in some pretty Pyrex! I have filled a lot of mine with vintage ornaments this year. I love all the colors!
That fudge sounds delicious! Would you mind sharing the recipe?

Hooray! I love seeing Pyrex in use. A lady at the store today asked if I was actually going to use the piece I bought. Umm... YES.

I should have!!! The reason I didn't was because she was at the GW looking to buy more! So I figured she would not sell.
DeleteNext time If someone says something I just might have to ask =)
