Full Set Thrifted

How often do you walk into a thrift store and find a whole set of Pyrex...anything?!  I couldn't believe it.  The pieces were sold individually, but the whole set was there.  So for $18...Happy Birthday to me!  I really like this variation of the Spring Blossom and will use this as my regular mixing set.

I'm noticing that I was so excited, I didn't dry the bowls very well before taking pics, LOL.

  1. Hi Stacy,

Not only did you get an amazing full set, you also found Crazy Daisy, not Spring Blossom. The Spring Blossom pattern is pretty easy to find around here but I have only seen pieces of the Crazy Daisy pattern on a couple of occasions. There are very subtle differences between the two. Lucky find for you!

    Happy Holidays,

    Erica

  2. Nice find Stacy!
And a good price too. Don't you just love finding something so awesome for such a good price?
It reminds me of when I found the Spring Blossom 4 piece mixing bowl set in Savers and the total price was $8.95!
Love finding the whole sets of Pyrex.

  6. Everyone deserves a special treat for their birthday!

Nice find, that happened to me twice - set of Colonial Mist Cinderella's and a pink fridge set, which probably was my best Pyrex find, ever!

  7. I still don't believe in a "Crazy Daisy" pattern, just different variations to the Spring Blossom Green patterns.

    Great score, BTW!

I find sets of Butterprint ALL THE TIME. For the mixing bowls, minus the 404 because I believe it was sold seps. But I've found 4,5,6? sets out there together in the wild & have passed up on 2 sets.

    1. It's so funny that there is no "official" concense on the name of the pattern....I go back and forth :)
